Learning through play

Addingham is a rural village set within the Wharfe Valley, close to Ilkley and Skipton. Addingham Pre-School Playgroup was founded in the 1960’s and was housed in the Memorial Hall until Oct 2010. From Nov 2010 we opened in a designated area within Addingham Primary School.

We have a large general room, 2 further classrooms, our own cloakroom and toilets and a secure soft surfaced, partially covered outdoor play area.

Our motto is ‘Learning through Play’, following the Early Years Foundation Stage principles. We offer pre-school education and care for children from the term in which they are three years old, in preparation for their transition to school.
